Our team reviews your application and connects with you directly for a one-on-one consultation. Whether in person or through a video call, we’ll get to know you, answer your questions, and ensure you feel confident about taking the next steps.

3. Medical Screening

You’ll be medically evaluated by an experienced reproductive specialist. The screening includes bloodwork, a physical exam, and testing to ensure your body is ready for a safe and healthy surrogacy journey. Your partner may also undergo routine testing for added peace of mind.

4. The Match

Once approved, we’ll introduce you to prospective intended parents. When both sides feel aligned, we call it a match! From here, your beautiful partnership begins — built on trust, hope, and shared dreams.

5. Legal & Support

Your surrogacy journey begins with a medical screening at a reputable fertility clinic. This includes a physical exam, bloodwork, and an ultrasound to ensure your body is ready for a safe and healthy pregnancy. If you have a partner, they may also be asked to participate in routine testing.

Once you’re matched and medically cleared, your cycle will be carefully planned by the clinic’s IVF team. You’ll receive a personalized medication protocol designed to prepare your uterine lining for embryo transfer. This may include oral medications, vaginal suppositories, or injectable hormones.

The embryo transfer itself is a quick, gentle, and non-surgical procedure — similar to a Pap smear. Afterward, you’ll rest and begin the exciting two-week wait to confirm pregnancy.

Throughout your journey, you’ll continue receiving monitoring, support, and communication from both the fertility clinic and your Yvision coordinator. From embryo transfer to heartbeat confirmation and beyond, we’re by your side — ensuring you’re cared for, informed, and celebrated every step of the way.

Who are surrogates? How are they screened?

Do I need to have been pregnant before becoming a gestational surrogate?

As a gestational surrogate, am I genetically related to the baby?

No. Yvision works exclusively with gestational surrogates. This means the embryo is created using the intended parents’ or donors’ genetic material. You are not biologically related to the child you carry.

What is required from my partner?

Your partner (if applicable) plays a vital support role. They may be asked to participate in infectious disease testing and sign legal documentation if you are married. Most importantly, they should fully support you emotionally and practically throughout your journey.

Can I have sex while pregnant as a surrogate?

Generally, yes. A healthy sex life is fine unless otherwise directed by your doctor, particularly around embryo transfer or if there are medical concerns. Always follow the advice of your fertility clinic.

Is the surrogacy process physically painful?

Pain tolerance varies, but surrogacy may involve some physical discomfort. Examples include frequent ultrasounds, injectable medications, and minor cramping during embryo transfer. Our team and your clinic will work with you to minimize discomfort and ensure you’re as comfortable as possible.

Will I get to meet the intended parents?

Yes. Matching is a two-way process. You’ll have a chance to meet your intended parents (virtually or in person) to ensure mutual comfort and alignment before proceeding. If you have a partner, they may be included in this conversation.

What happens if one or both intended parents pass away during the process?

This is rare, but Yvision plans for every possibility. Intended parents must provide legal documentation and designate a guardian in their will. Life insurance or trust accounts are typically established for the unborn child. You will never be obligated to raise the child.

Will the intended parents micromanage my life?

No. Yvision helps match you with parents who respect your independence. We ensure both parties share compatible expectations, boundaries, and communication styles. Some IPs are highly involved, while others are more hands-off — we’ll help you find the right fit.
